Hon. Ajuwon Abiola (AA), an aspirant for the position of House of Assembly, Akinyele constituency II has met with ace broadcaster, Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat.
Alhaji Oriyomi, the CEO of Popular Ibadan Radio station, Agidigbo FM is the talk of the town with his ‘Oyo Npe O’ (Oyo is calling you) ambition.
Speaking on their meeting, AA said it was a courtesy visit, and a great step to familiarize with the leading gubernatorial aspirant in the state.
He said:
“On Friday, 19/09/25, the strategic planning team AA, led by Hon. Abiola Yahya Ajuwon (AA), paid a visit to Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat, a philanthropist, CEO of Agidigbo FM Ibadan, and a leading Oyo State gubernatorial aspirant.
“As a well-known humanitarian and a son of the soil from Akinyele Local Government, we deemed it fitting to meet with him for proper consultation and to foster a relationship between his team (OYO N’PE O) and AA’s team.
“We had a conference meeting with the gubernatorial aspirant and his team (OYO N’ PE O), during the meeting Hon. AA declared his ambition to contest in the upcoming 2027 election.
“Our time with Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat was well spent, as we discussed development-centered initiatives and AA’s prospects for the people of Akinyele constituency II.”
