As part of his ongoing efforts to consolidate grassroots support for the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Community Engagement, Hon. Sulaimon Musa Olalekan continued his strategic local government tour with a productive engagement in Ede South, Ede North and Egbedore Local Government Areas.
The tour, aimed at fostering collaboration and deepening the relationship between the government and the people, brought together key community stakeholders, traditional leaders, youth representatives, women leaders, and members of various community development associations.
Hon. Sulaimon, in his address, emphasized the achievements of Governor Adeleke’s administration across sectors such as infrastructure, education, health, and workers’ welfare. He noted that the people’s continued support is vital to sustaining the momentum of progress recorded so far in the state.
“We are here to listen, engage, and work with you to ensure that the dividends of democracy reach every corner of Ede and Egbedore. The Governor is committed to inclusive governance, and that begins with hearing directly from the people,” he stated.
Stakeholders in attendance expressed appreciation for the visit, commending Governor Adeleke’s people-centered leadership and Hon. Sulaimon’s consistent efforts to bridge the gap between the government and the grassroots.
The interactive sessions provided a platform for community leaders to raise concerns, make suggestions, and reaffirm their unwavering support for Governor Adeleke’s re-election in 2026.
Hon. Sulaimon reassured them that their voices would not only be heard but also form the basis for tailored government interventions. He urged community leaders to continue sensitizing residents on the achievements of the Adeleke-led administration and the importance of unity ahead of the 2026 elections.
This tour, he affirmed, will continue across all local governments in the state to ensure that no community is left behind in the journey of progress.
The high-level engagement, which brought together leaders of Community Development Associations (CDAs), traditional leaders, youth representatives, and political stakeholders was held at Otan-Ayegbaju Town Hall Boluwaduro Local Government Osun state.
