It is a solemn period in Ondo State as unknown gunmen abduct the Secretary of Okeluju LCDA Akoko North West Ondo State in person of Hon. Joseph Kayode and others in the poultry farm along Kajola Road, Ilu Abo, Akure North.
As we look forward to their immediate release, it is very important for members of the public to remain calm and avoid spreading unverified information that may cause unnecessary panic.
We shouldn’t put all the blame on Mr Governor for the recent kidnapping. The sad development happened just a few hours after Mr Governor confidently pronounced to the nation that Ondo state is the safest state in the country.
Who knows the mystery behind the isolation of the victims, yes who knows.
The kidnapping may be orchestrated by political big wigs who are determined to render EASE AGENDA unrealised,
Or kidnapping arrangement game: some people in the part of the world now use this tactic to indirectly extort or solicit for funds from maybe government, other generous donors and their family members.
To cap it all, the insecurity challenge is a joint task; all hands must be on deck.
We are still lucky in Ondo state. Go to the North-eastern part of the nation where citizens have been fighting this insurgency for more than decades.
Do they blame their Governors? No!
Go to Bornu state, the vast majority don’t blame Prof Babagana Zulum for their insecurity challenge, instead, everyone his demanding for the adequate security from H.E Asiwaju Bola Ahmed and his portfolios who are to make policy and strategize a working system that will put an end to all higihaga in states.
As we look forward to the establishment of state police in cooperation with the regional security outfit and international security intervention to overcome this insecurity challenge, let’s remain resolute, positive and vigilant.
Overcoming insecurity is everyone’s work, together, we will overcome.
