Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, otherwise known as Phyna, says Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, may have lost his credibility in the wake of recent discoveries.
In a post shared on her verified X account on Thursday, the celebrity star stated in clear terms that Peter Obi is not a saint as widely believed, if happenings around the former Anambra State governor are anything to go by.
In a major twist of events, Phyna vowed to cast her vote for human rights activist and presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, in the 2027 election if he chooses to contest.
Phyna opined that Sowore seems to be Nigeria’s only hope of changing the fortune of the country.
“Is @YeleSowore going to contest in 2027? If yes, sir, I am personally ready. Because from what I just saw, even Obi is not a saint. Sowore is looking like our only hope at this point,” she wrote.
Her controversial post then stirred up a hornet’s nest of opposition as the Obidients lambasted her for posting an anti-Obi comment on social media, urging her to delete her post. But the former BBNaija star vowed not to bow to pressure from Obi supporters, telling those who cared to listen that she is entitled to her opinion.
“I said my own and peace… everyone has their opinions, but unfortunately some monkeys are masturbating and doing soapy on my CS… omo everybody wants a better Nigeria and I see mine in Sowore at this point — cry your tears,” Phyna wrote.
