Despite suffering a 1β3 defeat in a friendly against Viking FC, Norwegian first division side Bryne still crowned a Man of the Match and gave him a prize to remember.
The honour went to 21-year-old left-back Lasse Qvigstad, who scored Bryneβs only goal of the game.

In recognition of his performance, the club awarded him 40 bags of oatmeal, 100 eggs and 20 litres of milk, according to Tribuna. The unusual prize is a light-hearted nod to Bryneβs strong roots in local agriculture, especially meat and dairy production.
Fans took to social media to joke about the unconventional reward.
βWith prices like these in Norway, Iβd take this any day of the week!β one fan wrote.
βHonestly, thatβs a way better prize than some plastic tube with sponsor logos,β another said.
This isnβt the first time Bryne has offered an agriculturally themed prize to a standout player. Back in March 2025, goalkeeper Jan de Boer was similarly rewarded after a heroic display against Bodo/Glimt in Bryneβs return to the top division.
Although the team lost 1β0, De Boer kept them in the match with a string of saves, including a penalty stop and earned himself four trays of eggs for the effort.
Founded on 10 April 1926 as Bryne Fotball-lag, the club has been a part of the Norwegian Football Federation since 1929 and plays its home games at Bryne Stadion, a venue it has used since 1945.
