In the spirit of love, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited went the extra mile this Valentine’s Day, ensuring thousands of drivers hit the road with free fuel.
As part of the #FueledWithLove initiative, over 2,500 motorists received complimentary fuel worth ₦10,000 each at select stations across Nigeria.
Sharing the story on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, NNPC wrote, “This Valentine’s Day, we went the extra mile for our customers!
“Over 2,500 drivers left our stations with hearts full of joy, receiving free fuel worth ₦10,000 each.”
In a related development the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has announced a slight reduction in petrol prices at its retail stations, lowering the pump price from N960 to N945 per litre.
The new pricing took effect on Thursday, February 13, 2025, following an official directive from the company’s headquarters.
According to Politics Nigeria, At an NNPC filling station in Ejigbo, attendants confirmed the adjustment. One of them stated, “We received instructions this morning (Thursday) to change the price from N960 to N945. As you can see, more customers are coming in, and the queues are growing.”
