Ibadan North Federal Constituency hopeful and Pioneer Chairman of Aare Latoosa LCDA, Bashorun Adekunle Oladeji (Omo BAO), has commended Nigerians for their resilience and commitment to the country.
Today marks 64 years since Nigeria gained independence from Britain. This anniversary offers us a chance to reflect on our journey as a nation, focusing on successes, re-establishing our strengths, and addressing present challenges.
Omo BAO acknowledged the country’s vast potential, citing natural and human resources. However, he noted that Nigerians are not reaping the benefits due to bad leadership, which has led to failed aspirations and struggles for self-survival.
“This is the time for patriotic citizens to offer prayers for unity, progress, and development. I urge our leaders to focus on building a better, egalitarian society, making Nigeria great again and reclaiming its position as a leader among African nations”.
On behalf of his family and Ibadan North FC, Omo BAO wished Nigerians a happy 64th independence anniversary, praying that God Almighty blesses and saves the country.
