With a heart filled with gratitude and a spirit of service, I, Comrade BIG AFO, the newly inaugurated President of the Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta (MAPOLY), wish to express my profound appreciation to the entire student community for the trust, love, and confidence bestowed upon me and my team.
Your overwhelming support and participation in the electoral process have not only demonstrated the strength of student unity but have also reaffirmed the importance of active participation in student unionism and democratic leadership. The Students’ Union remains the true voice of the students and your involvement gives power to that voice.
Student unionism is not just about leadership; it is about collective responsibility, representation, and progress. When students actively engage in the affairs of the Union, they help shape the policies, culture, and future of our institution. I therefore urge every student to remain involved, stay informed, and stand united as we begin this new chapter together.
As we take the mantle of leadership, we do so with humility, dedication, and a firm resolve to deliver an administration that will prioritize the welfare, security, and academic advancement of every MAPOLY student. Our vision is clear to build a Union that listens, acts, and delivers.
This administration is deeply committed to transparency, accountability, and inclusiveness. We shall work tirelessly to bridge the gap between students and management, strengthen our relationship with external stakeholders, and create an environment where every student can thrive both academically and socially.
