Comrade Ojetola Babatunde Yussuf popularly known as Toyyem has declared his intention to run for the position of General Secretary in forthcoming National Association of Nigerian Students, Southwest Zone (NANS Zone D).
In a publication sighted by our correspondent, the former Oyo NANS JCC general secretary declared his intention to serve southwest students today.
Toyyem, who is the incumbent Treasurer of NANS Zone D disclosed that after keen consultation of stakeholders, cadres, senators and comrades continue, he’s ready again to serve in Zonal capacity.
He said “In the wake of consultation, we must showcase our love, our ambition, intention and readiness to serve the students populace.
“Innovation distinguishes between a leader and follower. We will not follow where the path leads. Instead, we will create a path where there’s none, and let there be visible trail for the coming ones.
“In the past, we have been productive, positive, relevant and relentless. And we will continue to build on our undoubted representation, unrivalled relationship and positivism.
“I have served in such capacity at NANS JCC Oyo level, hence, progressing forward to higher capacity is a task I chose with sincerity and cautiousness.
“I am using this opportunity to call for support, prayers and votes as we achieved this together.
“The New Era is here… Toyyem is coming.”
