The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Joint Campus Council (JCC), Oyo State, wishes to categorically inform the general public, stakeholders, and the entire student community that our association remains strictly non-partisan and independent of any political party or candidate.
NANS JCC Oyo State, as a respected umbrella body representing the collective interests of Nigerian students within the state, maintains a firm stance of neutrality in partisan politics. We are committed to protecting the integrity, unity, and credibility of our association, and as such, we do not engage in, nor do we support, any form of political endorsement at this time.
In light of this, the public is hereby advised to disregard any statement, publication, or representation claiming that NANS JCC Oyo State has endorsed any political party or candidate. Such claims are false, misleading, and should be treated as fake news. No executive member, appointee, or affiliate of the association is authorized to make political endorsements on behalf of NANS JCC Oyo State.
While we recognize and respect the fundamental rights of individuals to support political candidates or parties of their choice, such actions must be carried out strictly in a personal capacity and must not, under any circumstance, be associated with or attributed to the name of our noble association.
NANS JCC Oyo State remains a disciplined and principled organization. Should there ever arise a need for an official position or endorsement, it will be deliberated upon and duly communicated through recognized and verified channels of the association, under the authority of the executive council.
We urge the public, media outlets, and all concerned parties to verify information before dissemination and to support us in preserving the integrity and non-partisan nature of NANS JCC Oyo State.
