Who is Bashorun Adekunle Oladeji

I, Bashorun Abdullahi Adekunle Oladeji, Affectionately known as Omo BAO, was born on January 22, 1973, to Alhaji (Chief) Bello Adeleke Onaolapo Oladeji and Alhaja Suliat Mojisola Oladeji (née Adesina).

His father, fondly referred to as Baba BAO, was an accomplished and a renowned Principal of Secondary school, the former Party Chairman of Oyo South Senatorial District of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, in Oyo State.

Her mother is a reputable Businesswoman and a retired civil servant.

The Oladeji family hails from the Oopoyeosa/Oba Ido district of Ibadan City. A responsible man who’s happily married with beautiful children.

He began his early education at Oritamefa Baptist Nursery and Primary School in Ibadan, where he completed his primary education between 1977 and 1985. He proceeded to Government College, Apata, Ibadan, for his secondary education from 1985 to 1991, while he attended Holy Trinity Grammar School, Old Ife Road, Ibadan, from 1992 to 1993. To enhance his technical skills, he further attended Kaylinks Computer and Technology in Ibadan in 1995.

He later graduated with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Chemical Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State, in 2001.

His professional journey began with Industrial Training at Lenoil Petroleum & Petrochemicals Nigeria Limited, Isolo, Lagos, from 1999 to 2000. While he served as a Marketing Executive during his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) year at the same company from January 2002 to December 2002. During his Youth Service, he singlehandedly conducted market research, canvassed customers, and managed the sales and distribution of petroleum products.

In the year 2003, Bashorun Adekunle Oladeji ventured into entrepreneurship while he established Kastron Oil and Gas Marketing Company Limited.

The company based in Ibadan, it”s into supply and distribution of petroleum products, transportation of petroleum products, and importation of petroleum products like PMS, AGO, and DPK. He also serve as the Executive Director of Kam-Fill Oil and Gas Marketing Company Limited in Lagos, which purely engages in the blending, production, sales, and distribution of automotive oil.

His Political career and achievements is quite flourishing, there’s no doubt He us a grassroots politician, and he has have been a committed member of the All Progressive Congress (APC) since its formation and have actively participated in politics since his school days. He followed his father’s footsteps by joining the mainstream of progressivism in Nigeria and actively participated in the campaigns for the Chairmanship of Ibadan North Local Government Area. His dedication and followership have earned hima solid reputation that transcends the local government area.

His activation in community engagement and prefessinalism is second to none.
Nevertheless, he’s a Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineering and Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Economics.

– Clubs: Member of the Ibadan Progressive Union (IPU) and Government College Ibadan Old Boys Association (GIOBA).

– Political Parties: Member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Social Democratic Party (SDP), and Alliance for Democracy (AD).

He specialize and enjoy reading journals and watching educational programmes on television. His commitment to continuous learning and personal development is evident in for his active pursuit of knowledge and community service.

No doubt, his life and career are marked by a commitment to public service, professional excellence, and community development. He developed extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, coupled with his deep-rooted connection to his community and it’s evirons makes him a distinguished and efficient servant-leader who always ready to serve the people of Ibadan North Federal Constituency.

Bashorun Adekunle Oladeji renovate and stocked the clinic with medical equipment and necessary drugs.

EDUCATION AND ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE Production & Distribution of Exercise Books:
He made a Provision of exercise books to (9)nine public primary schools across the Local Council Development Area.

Motorized Boreholes:
– Drilled and installed motorized boreholes at Mechanic Village, Bodija, Oju Irin.
– Drilled and installed motorized boreholes at Community Primary Health Centre, Ago Tapa, Mokola.
– Drilled and installed motorized boreholes at Major Salawu Street, Agbowo, Ibadan.

– Provided financial support and empowerment programmes for widows and elderly people across Aare Latosa LCDA.

– Asphaltic paving and construction of hydraulic structures at Kara Oju-Irin/Abattoir Road, Bodija, Ibadan.
– Grading and supply of laterite filling at Aponrin Street, Agbowo, UI, Ibadan.
– Grading and laterite supply at Baale Street, Agbowo, Ibadan.

SANITATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
Clearing and Evacuation:
– Clearing and evacuation of animal dungs at Bodija Abattoir.
– Clearing and evacuation of debris inside the public drainages at Kraal entrance down to Olive.

DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT
Desilting and Repair:

– Desilting of drains at Kabiawu Street, Mokola, Ibadan.
– Desilting of drainage at Nalende (Nitel Road).
– Desilting of line drains along Major Salawu Street, Agbowo Area.

– Repair of Alveo Chevrolet car attached to the Office of the Secretary to the Local Council Development Area.
– Repair of vehicle No. LG.22 BDJ Ford Ranger attached to the office of Director of Works.

– Distributed uniforms and exercise books to public primary schools.
