The Students’ Union Government of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, has commended the Personal Assistant To President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Special Duties, Alhaji Kamaldeen Olawale Yusuf, for what it described as a transformative intervention in the lives of financially distressed learners.
The SUG President, Comrade Temitope Afolabi — widely known on campus as Big Afo — said the presidential aide’s gestures had restored hope to students who had abandoned their academic aspirations due to lack of funds.

Afolabi disclosed that Alhaji Yusuf had consistently offered financial support to indigent students, including the payment of examination fees for NECO and WAEC, thereby enabling many to reclaim their educational pathways.
He added that the presidential aide’s philanthropic drive extended beyond the academic community, noting that several market women had also benefited from his empowerment schemes.
The SUG leader described the interventions as a strategic lift for struggling youths and families, stressing that such support reflects a deep commitment to national development through education.
He urged other public office holders to emulate Alhaji Yusuf’s example, saying the future of the nation depends on deliberate investment in human capital.
