The leadership of the Congress of Nigerian Youth (CONYO) has passed the vote of confidence on CEO of Young Agro Service Limited CEO, Mr Johnson Ajibola, GISTSMATE MEDIA is reporting.
Recall that the head of the Hausa community in Alubarika Rice Farm Cluster, Bello Zabarmawa, has refuted claims of complete ownership and management of a 200-hectare rice farm located in Magboro, Obafemi – Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.
Zabarmawa said he was misquoted by the press. He maintained that the state government brought the tractors, and harvesters and paid 50% for fertilizers and chemicals.
He furthered that the state government contributed massively towards the success of the 200 hectares rice project.
Reacting to the report, CONYO, a progressive youth organization that is dedicated to seek for justice, the leadership of the organization undergone on a fact finding mission regarding the Magboro Rice Project.
The leadership of the organization also unveiled the government contractor behind the project, Mr Johnson Ajibola, the CEO of Young Agro Service Limited and President of Youth Famers Magboro.
CONYO discovered that Mr Ajibola played significant role in the success of the rice project and delivered effectively on the promise made by the government.
According to the fact finding, over 200 documented farmers on the 200 hectares of land and through the contracted service provider the government provided 3 harvesters and covered 65% of the work while the farmers only contributed 35%.
It was also discovered that due to the effective delivery of service and the result achieved, the government is ready to expand the land by another 200 hectares and thereby bringing in more farmers.
The findings by the leadership of Congress of Nigerian Youth (CONYO) triggered the organization to passed a vote of confidence on Mr Johnson Ajibola for his effective delivery and also for being a true symbol of the Nigeria youth, desired by millions of youths.
