Oluwaseyi Anifowose officially holds the world’s record for organizing the Largest Gathering of Teachers in the World in Lagos.
Convener of the Let There Be Teachers Conference 2025, says the programme was born out of a deep conviction to create a global platform that to spotlight the real challenges facing the teaching profession.
According to the event coordinator 90% of the teachers were from Lagos because they lacked funds to bring in teachers from outside the state as originally intended.
The historic initiative was not merely an attempt to break a record; it was a bold call to action — to celebrate teachers, amplify their voices, and compel stakeholders to commit to more meaningful reforms.
Oluwaseyi Anifowose has years of experience in teacher’s training and capacity development.
