A student of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) , Oluwakemisola Emmanuel, who once begged on the streets in order to raise her university tuition fee has graduated.
Oluwakemisola recounted her university experience through throwback images she shared via her Instagram handle.
The throwback images included her time as a 100-level and 200-level student, as well as her final year when financial challenges prompted her to seek public support to finish her education.
Sharing her joy on Instagram, Oluwakemisola wrote: “Officially a B.Sc. Mass Communication graduate from the University of Lagos! What started in December 2017 has finally come to a beautiful end today. I’m deeply grateful to God for guiding me through this journey and to everyone who supported me financially along the way.”
