‘It’s Tough For Me,’ Anthony Joshua Breaks Silence On Friends’ Death

Former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has broken his silence following the death of his close friends.

In an emotional post shared on his Instagram page, Joshua paid tribute to two of his friends, Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele, who died in a tragic car accident in Nigeria last month.

The boxing star expressed both grief and appreciation for the support extended to the families of the deceased.

In the post shared on Thursday, Joshua said he was still in shock over the loss, describing the late Ghami and Ayodele as remarkable individuals whose value he only fully realised after their passing.

“Thank you for all the love and care you have shown my brothers. I didn’t even realise how special they were. I would just be walking with them and cracking jokes, not even knowing God kept me in the presence of great men,” he wrote.

Joshua admitted that their deaths had been deeply painful, not only for him but especially for their families.

“Of course, it’s tough for me, but I know it’s even tougher for their parents. I have a strong mind, and I believe God knows their hearts. May God have mercy on my brothers,” he added.

Joshua had earlier spoken about the tragic loss of his two close friends during an emotional conversation with UFC star Kamaru Usman.

It’s not easy to replace relatives in life, no way, till death you will still remember them for some things.
