Invasion Threat To Nigeria: Trump Might Be Mentally Unstable — American Defense Attorney

An American criminal defense attorney and former state and federal prosecutor, Ron Filipkowski, has suggested that President Donald Trump may be mentally unstable following his recent remarks about possible military action in Nigeria.

In a post shared on his X account on Sunday, Filipkowski reacted to Trump’s statement on potential U.S. intervention in Nigeria, saying, “At some point we might have to consider the fact that he might be mentally unstable.”

Filipkowski’s comment came after Trump instructed the U.S. Department of War to prepare for possible military action against Nigeria, accusing the Nigerian government of allowing the killing of Christians across the country.

In a message posted on his Truth Social account on Saturday, Trump said the United States would immediately halt all aid and assistance to Nigeria if the attacks on Christians persist.

He also hinted at a potential military intervention to “completely wipe out the Islamic terrorists” he blamed for the violence.

Trump stated, “If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the U.S.A. will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, ‘guns-a-blazing,’ to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities.”

The president directed the War Department to begin preparations for a potential strike, describing any response as “fast, vicious, and sweet.”

Trump added, “I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action. If we attack, it will be fast, vicious, and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack our CHERISHED Christians! WARNING: THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT BETTER MOVE FAST!”

He further warned the Nigerian government to act urgently to prevent further violence against Christian communities, claiming that Christianity in Nigeria faces an existential threat.

Tribune Online reports that Trump had earlier designated Nigeria as a “country of particular concern,” urging Congress to launch an investigation into what he described as the persecution of Christians in the country.

Trump maintained that the United States would not stand by while Christians in Nigeria and other parts of the world face attacks, stressing that America remains ready to defend Christian populations globally.
