Independence Day: Bashorun Adekunle Oladeji Abdullahi ‘Omobao’ Calls For Patience, Acknowledges Past Leaders’ Contributions To Nation-Building

As Nigeria commemorates its 64th Independence Day, Bashorun Adekunle Oladeji ABDULLAHI (OmoBao), a formidable aspirant for Ibadan North Federal Constituency, has called on Nigerians to exercise patience and support the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as it works towards building a prosperous nation.

In a message made available to the media, Bashorun Oladeji also took time to honor the efforts of past representatives in Ibadan North Federal Constituency and Nigeria’s past leaders for their contributions to the country’s development.

In his statement, Bashorun Oladeji expressed gratitude for the sacrifices and achievements of former leaders, both at the federal and constituency levels, recognizing that the foundations laid by them have paved the way for ongoing progress.

“Our nation’s growth has been shaped by the tireless efforts of our past leaders who have, at different times, played pivotal roles in building Nigeria. I would like to acknowledge the immense contributions of our previous representatives in Ibadan North Federal Constituency and leaders across Nigeria, who have dedicated themselves to nation-building. Their service and dedication continue to inspire us as we work towards a better tomorrow,” he said.

He specifically acknowledged the efforts of the past representatives of Ibadan North Federal Constituency, noting their role in advancing local development, improving infrastructure, and addressing the needs of the community. “Our past representatives have worked diligently to move Ibadan North forward, and we must appreciate their contributions. I aspire to build upon their efforts, ensuring that we continue the trajectory of growth and development for all residents of our constituency,” Bashorun Oladeji added.

While reflecting on the progress made over the years, Bashorun Oladeji urged Nigerians to give President Tinubu’s administration the necessary support to implement the reforms that will propel the nation forward. Drawing on the adage “Rome was not built in a day,” he emphasized the importance of patience and collective effort in achieving lasting change.

“Nation-building is a continuous process, and while challenges remain, we need to remain patient and united. President Tinubu’s administration has inherited a nation with deep-rooted issues, but with time, support, and patience from all of us, I believe we are on the right path to prosperity. The government needs our backing to successfully steer the ship to the promised land,” he stressed.

Bashorun Oladeji reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people of Ibadan North while working in alignment with the broader goals of the nation. – Economic Growth: “Through President Tinubu’s policies, we are set on a path toward economic revitalization. However, progress takes time, and we must allow the reforms to unfold for us to see the benefits.”

Concluding his message, Bashorun Oladeji expressed optimism for Nigeria’s future and encouraged all Nigerians to look forward with hope and determination.
