A group advocating for President Bola Tinubu re-election in 2027, Tinubu Media Force (TMF) has called on Nigerians to join the ongoing voters card registration.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) commenced CVR on 18th August with the online pre-registration.
INEC also said the in-person registration option will follow a week later on 25th August 2025 and thereafter, the two processes will continue simultaneously for a year until 30th August 2026.
Speaking on the development this weekend ahead of in-person registration, Hon. Gbenga Abiola, the National Coordinator of TMF said everyone must vote in 2027, and the first preparation is to register for the voter’s card.
“In 2027, we should not leave it for whoever wants to emerge, we should all go and get voter’s card. The registration is the first step, and it’s an important step”, Abiola said.
Speaking further, he urged people to be positive and focused, and also believe in reforms that President Bola Tinubu has embarked on.
He said, “Rome was not built in a day, and without no pain, there’s no gain. We need to support the President’s reforms. He’s changing the fortunes of the country, it’s not an easy task, but Asiwaju is pulling the trigger. And that’s why we should support him, that’s why we should pray for his success.
“To rescue the nation from the hands of saboteurs and political bandits can never be a term job, so for the sake of Asiwaju, let’s get our voter’s card done, ready and get him going in 2027.”
