Former President of National Association of Akoko North-East Students, Comrade Oloruntoba Olaitan politically known as ‘Lord Lugard’ has been appointed as Special Assistant on Media to Executive Chairman of Akoko North East Local Government, Alh. Mohammed Mutiu Olawale.
In a press statement sighted by GISTSMATE MEDIA, Oloruntoba was appointed along two others namely, Ogedegbe Sunday ( Special Assistant on Mobilization) and Saliu Wasiu (Special Assistant on Media).
The Chairman said the appointment is part of his continuous effort to strengthen governance and bring the people closer to the heart of the local administration.
Reacting to the appointment, Oloruntoba said he is pleased with the appointment and ready to discharge his duty diligently.
His acceptance letter reads:
Executive Chairman,
Akoko North East LGA,
Alhaji Mohammed Mutiu Olawale,
ACCEPTANCE OF APPOINTMENT
I am pleased to accept my appointment as the Special Adviser on Media dated to take effect on 25th June 2025.
I appreciate and am confident in the Leadership prowess of Hon. Mohammed Olawale, the incumbent Chairman of Akoko North East Local Government, Ondo Nigeria.
Accordingly I will discharge my duty diligently with dedication and would be justifiable and promise to abide by rules and regulations governing the designed portfolio given.
The main reason I accept this offer is because Hon. Mohammed fondly called Baba Nel is a man of Valour with an achievers lifestyle.
The youth inclusiveness and brilliant minds in his administration is also a testament to the fact that he is a builder of men.
I pray the Almighty God will continue to guide and protect Akoko North East Local Government, Ondo State and Nigeria as a Nation.
