FLASH: Tinubu’s Minister Gets New Appointment 

The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) has appointed Bosun Tijani, the current minister of communications, innovation, and digital economy, as a member of the board of trustees.

His appointment was shared on X, where Tijani said that this recognition is not only a personal achievement but also a significant win for Nigeria.

He tweeted:

“I am honoured to be invited by the United Nations Secretary General, António Guterres, to serve on the Board of Trustees of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (@UNITAR), an autonomous institution established within the framework of the United Nations for the purpose of enhancing the effectiveness of the Organization in achieving its major objectives.

invitation to serve on the UNITAR Board is a win for Nigeria, and an acknowledgement of the giant strides made by President @officialABAT towards promoting economic and social development.
