GISTSMATE MEDIA reports that the Police authorities in Abuja have given fresh update on the popular cross-dresser recently killed in Abuja.
Recall that the remains of Abuja Area Mama, a male cross-dresser and TikToker, was found along a highway in the nationâs capital city on August 8.
In a statement on Wednesday, FCT police spokesperson, Josephine Adeh said the force has commenced investigations to unravel the circumstances surrounding the death of the 33-year-old.
The statement reads in parts: âSequel to a case of culpable homicide and discovery of an unidentified male corpse earlier mistaken for a female on August 8, 2024.
âThe operatives of the FCT Command have begun a discreet investigation as ordered by the Commissioner of Police FCT, CP Benneth C. Igweh, psc, mni.
âPreliminary investigations revealed the deceased to be one Ifeanyi Chukwu-Agah Benedict, a â33â year old man who hails from Afikpo North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State and resides at DapĂ© in Karmo Area of Abuja.
âThe family of the deceased have also been contacted, as they are aiding the police with necessary information.â
