Nigerian businessman Ikechukwu Ogbonna, known as IVD, has been reportedly arrested at airport.
According to blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus, the businessman was arrested at the airport on his way to Qatar on Friday, August 1st.
According to insiders, the arrest has to do with a Domestic Violence case against him regarding his late wife, Bimbo, which is still in court. The auto dealer isn’t supposed to leave Nigeria until the case ends.
The insiders further claimed he will be detained until Monday, August 4th, 2025, when he will be charged in court.
The blog added that his fiancée, Blessing CEO, has confirmed the arrest to sources and is running around to see how she can help him.

IVD became trending topic following the death of his wife, Bimbo on 15th October 2022 after a series of alleged domestic violence.
Following this, the father of five was involved in different controversies; from being accused of murdering his wife, to being fetish, having numerous side chicks, and being responsible for the shooting at Cubana club, amongst other accusations.
Bimbo’s elder sister, identified as Mama Jazz, had specifically fingered IVD as the perpetrator of the young mother’s death.
Speaking up about his wife’s death, IVf claimed his late wife was fond of unleashing violence anytime they quarreled, and would put up a facade of a personality to the public.
In another Instagram post, the embattled father of four, revealed via his Instagram story that he had been ostracized from his kids. He expressed how saddened he was, that he hadn’t seen his kids, girls. The auto dealer threatened to commit suic!de if he wasn’t given access to his kids. For him, losing his wife and kids has emptied him, hence the decision to take his life, since his world revolves around them.
