FLASH: Another Gospel Singer, Dele Gold Dies

GISTSMATE MEDIA reports that a popular Nigerian gospel singer, Dele Agbeyo, professionally called Dele Gold is dead.

Dele reportedly died on Wednesday after a brief illness.

Confirming Dele Gold’s death, his colleague, Alayo Melody in a post on his official page, wrote, “Dele Gold died kee? Ahhh This is getting too much!!!! May God help us stop this untimely death. Dele Agbeyo May your soul rest well.”

Dele Gold who is also known as The Miliki Gospel King, was a native of Usi, Ekiti State, but grew up in Faforiji, in Osun State.

His death came barely a month after another rising star Aduke Ajayi, better known as Aduke Gold, sadly passed away.

The news of her demise was shared by fellow gospel artiste Esther Igbeke on social media, who posted a tribute with Aduke Gold’s picture and the caption: “A general has fallen. RIP.”

Dele Gold revealed that his passion for music was inspired by a series of dreams. Despite not originally seeing himself as a musician, he pursued his calling with the guidance of God.

He revealed in an interview before his death that he was initially indifferent about becoming a singer but was driven to pursue the path after a series of dreams where he found himself composing and singing. He believed his musical calling was divinely inspired.
