The Federal Government through the office of Senior Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Students Engagement has conducted leadership development training for selected Students Union Presidents in Southwest.
GISTSMATE MEDIA recall that similar program was conducted for SUG Presidents in North Central, facilitated by SSA to President, Hon. Comrade Asefon Sunday Dayo.
Reacting to the development, Asefon disclosed that such programs are needed for reshaping the future of our nation.
Speaking to our correspondent after the program, he said, “Yesterday, we successfully concluded the second leg of our leadership development training program for selected student union leaders from Nigerian tertiary institutions in the South West region, held in Ado Ekiti. It was an impressive outing, with participants demonstrating zeal and determination to improve themselves as present-day leaders.
“I commend the facilitators, particularly one of our resource persons, Senior Comrade Oluwole Moleyin (aka Obesurutu), for his insightful tutelage and experiential leadership experiences shared with the participants. I also appreciate the Commissioner of Youth Development, Ekiti State, Hon. Gold Adedayo, who represented Governor Biodun Abayomi, the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, at the program.
“My gratitude extends to the SSA to Governors in the South West for their support and presence at the program.
“Together, we are reshaping the future of our nation as the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR continues to invest in the future of our country by building responsible young leaders for national development through leadership capacity building for young Nigerians.
