Students of Federal College of Education Technical Potiskum, Yobe State has showered encomium on president Bola Ahmad Tinubu for considering and appointing Hon. Nasiru Aminu Bala Ja’oji, a member of the 7th governing council of the college as Senior Special Assistant to Mr president on leadership and citizenship.
The students under the aegis of Stakeholders Forum, FCET Potiskum described the appointment as a welcoming development and something worthy of celebration by the entire College community.
In a press briefing through Amb. Aminu Habibu, the Chairman of the group, Hon. Ja’oji who is a governing council member of FCET Potiskum was described as one of the major stakeholders that brings development and progress to the institution, as such making him a blessing and pride of Federal College Of Education Potiskum.
Amb. Aminu said Hon. ja’oji is not only a blessing to FCET Potiskum, but also one of the vibrant young Nigerians and philanthropists who believes in making impact and services to the community they finds themselves.
The students group also assured Hon. Jaoji of their support and prayers in discharging the new tasks hang to his shoulder.
The group challenged him to use his office to bring and make a lasting impact in the memories of the college and Nigeria as a country.
“We are charging the newly appointed SSA on leadership and citizenship to deploy more of his philanthropists ideas and humanitarian services in coming up with many policies that are students and citizenry friendly”, Aminu said.
Amb. Aminu Habibu had also commend the Asiwaju renewed hope administration for bringing back hope in the lives of Nigerian Students through NELFUND.
The forum concluded their press briefing by commending and appreciating the current management of the Federal College Of Education under the auspicious leadership of Dr. Yunusa Modu Muhammad for striving and diversifying harder to maintain an affordable tuition fees while paving and creating an enabling conducive environment for teaching and learning that brings and maintain the tempor of excellence and productivity in college.
