Fagbenro-Bibire Congratulates Nigerians In Diaspora On Thanksgiving Day

Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro-Bibire has taken the opportunity to congratulate Nigerians living in the Diaspora as well as his colleagues and friends in the United States and people from all walks of life on the occasion of Thanksgiving Day.

The retired US Navy veteran communicated this in a statement he personally signed and issued to the public to commemorate the annual Thanksgiving Day celebrations across the United States.

Recall that the Thanksgiving is a national holiday celebrated every year on the fourth Thursday of November for giving thanks for the harvest and blessings of the past year.

In the statement, he said that even with the challenges and difficult moments of the past year, there are still countless reasons to be grateful.

“This occasion is, therefore, an opportunity to pause from the busyness of life, to appreciate the small and great victories of the year, the blessings of life, the support of family and friends, and the progress made in personal and professional endeavours,” he stated.

The humanitarian of no mean repute further called on all and sundry to use this occasion to reach out to the less privileged, to extend a helping hand, and to ensure they make someone smile today.

He also used the occasion to hail the resilience and contributions of Nigerians in the diaspora who continue to uphold the values of hard work, integrity, and service while representing their country abroad.
