The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has partnered with MTN Nigeria to provide free 24/7 Wi-Fi services at Murtala Muhammed International Airport and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
The move is to enhanced passenger experience and digital connectivity at Nigeria’s two busiest international gateways.
FAAN officials said the initiative is part of ongoing efforts to modernize airport infrastructure and align Nigeria’s aviation sector with global standards.
The free internet service will enable passengers to stay connected, conduct business, communicate with loved ones, and share travel updates in real time without concerns about data costs.
MTN Nigeria described the partnership as a strategic move to support digital inclusion and improve customer experience within critical public infrastructure.
The telecom company assured users of reliable and secure connectivity across designated airport areas.
Aviation stakeholders have welcomed the development, noting that seamless internet access is now a basic expectation for international travelers and a key component of smart airport systems worldwide.
