The former Student Union President of Federal School of Statistics, Ibadan Campus, Mr Ganiyu Kazeem Abiodun has declared intention to run for the school Alumni Association President.
Ganiyu, fondly call Olubara is the interim Vice President of the association, and the former Union President of the school during 2005/06 session.
Declaring his ambition, Mr Ganiyu said the passion to contribute his quota to the growth of FSSIB and the alumni body is behind his ambition to contest for the position of President.
The declaration reads:
Declaration of Interest For the Position of President, FSSIB Alumni Association
I am Ganiyu Kazeem Abiodun, FSSIB Class of 2006, and I formally declare my intention to contest for the position of President of the FSSIB Alumni Association.
Over the years, I have remained committed to contributing my quota to the growth of our alma mater and the alumni body. My passion lies in building a platform that truly serves all alumni, current students, and the institution at large.
If elected, my priorities will include:
1. Uniting our diverse alumni community through inclusive connections, events, and initiatives.
2. Strengthening ties between alumni, current students, and our alma mater.
3. Creating opportunities for professional growth, mentorship, and networking.
4. Enhancing the visibility, relevance, and impact of our association.
5. Promoting effective governance, transparency, and accountability.
With my career as a Lecturer, Computational Intelligence Expert, and Researcher, I bring both experience and dedication to this role. I pledge to work diligently towards the growth and sustainability of our community and to ensure that our alumni association remains a vibrant force for progress.
Together, we can transform connections into opportunities and secure a greater future for the FSSIB Alumni Association.
