It it is already two years now that the good people of Akoko Norgh East and Akoko North West Federal Constituency have given electoral mandate to Hon. Ife Ehindero to represent them at the Federal House of Representatives in Abuja.
The federal lawmaker representing Akoko North Federal Constituency has been struggling to perform from the very first day of his election, he did not value the importance of electoral trust reposed in him by his people. He take his people for granted.
Without doubt, Hon. Ife Ehindero would feel remorseful if asked to give account of his two years stewardship as a member representing Akoko North Federal Constituency. Hon. Ife is an alien within and outside of his constituency because he has not connected with the people he has been representing in his two years of being in office. No one within Akoko North East/Akoko North West Federal Constituency can in good conscience deny the poor performance of this our serving MHR.
In his two years of being in office, Ehindero has intentionally choose to compromise all his electoral promises made during campaign.
As a matter of fact, he has deliberately made the people of Akoko North Federal Constituency dissatisfy in his stay at the National Assembly. He has become a representative through which many people could now clearly distinguish the performance of his predecessor Hon. Bunmi Tunji Ojo as one of its kind.
The federal lawmaker has not given necessary attention to rural electrification projects in Akunnu, Auga, Ese, Afin, Erusu, Ajowa, Igedegede, Ikakumo, Irun, Iyometa Ikare.
He had fail to initiate collaborative efforts with his fellow South West federal lawmakers at the National Assembly to push for project that will boost socio-economic activities of the zone.
Hon. Ifeoluwa Ehindero is the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Student Loans, Scholarships, and Higher Education Financing.
He was appointed to oversee the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) yet, he is unable to work with other federal ministries, departments and both local and state agencies of government. This attitude make it hard for him to facilitate any developmental projects as he lack collaborative attitude with government at both State and National levels.
Sincerely, Through him, How many Akoko North Federal Constituency students has travelled oversea countries to further their higher education. How many incentives credited to his name for the undergraduate in the constituency and not the regular and common 1000 UTME forms any philanthropist can afford to orchestrate.
Without any iota of doubt Hon. Ehindero deserves condemnation for his distant relationship with his constituents. He had not organized any avenue to meet with his constituents for their pressing needs.
No employment opportunities credited to his name for the jobless youths in Akoko North Federal Constituency. Many youths and aged ones are unlucky since he resumed office
The Holy Bible admonishes in Proverbs 29:2 states that society flourishes, finds joy, and rejoices when righteous people hold authority or increase in power, but the people groan, mourn, and suffer under the rule of the wicked. In just two years, he has failed to fulfilled all electoral promises made and still struggling to set new and unmatched record of achieve.
Akoko North Federal constituency deserve the best.
