A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck southern Iran on Tuesday, shaking the Gerash area in Fars Province, according to seismic reports.
The tremor occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres on March 3.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or significant structural damage as of the time of filing this report.
The quake comes at a time of heightened tension in the country following airstrikes by the United States and Israel.
