GISTSMATE MEDIA reports that a Nigerian woman has shared a video on X showing her lips severely swollen after reportedly applying a product known as Kayamata lip gloss.
The product, marketed across West Africa as an aphrodisiac, reportedly contains unregulated herbal ingredients.
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has previously warned that such products could trigger allergic reactions and other health complications.
In the viral clip, the woman expressed distress over the painful swelling that followed the gloss application, prompting widespread concern and reactions online.
Raising the product up, she revealed her confession of being confused on what to do next.
