BREAKING: Presidency Reveals Date To Swear-In New Ministers

GISTSMATE MEDIA reports that President Bola Tinubu will on Monday, November 4, 2024, swear in seven new ministers into his cabinet at the Council Chamber of the State House, Abuja.

The President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, revealed this on Sunday via his X handle.

Onanuga said, “President Bola Tinubu will swear in the new seven ministers tomorrow Monday.

“The ministers are Dr Nentawe Yilwatda – Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction; Muhammadu Dingyadi – Minister of Labour and Employment; Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu – Minister of State Foreign Affairs.

“Others are Dr Jumoke Oduwole – Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment (Trade and Investment), Idi Maiha – Minister of Livestock Development; Yusuf Ata – Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development; and Dr Suwaiba Ahmad – Minister of State Education.

“The Senate cleared the ministers last week.”

In a major cabinet reshuffle on October 23, Tinubu approved the re-assignment of 10 ministers to new ministerial portfolios, discharged five others and nominated seven new ministers for onward transmission to the Senate for confirmation.

On October 31, 2024, the Senate confirmed all seven nominees after screening each.
