GISTSMATE MEDIA reports that veteran Nollywood actor, Emmanuel France has passed away at the age of 80. The cause of his death remains unclear.
The news was announced by filmmaker Femi Ogedengbe on his social media page.
Ogedengbe recalled working closely with France, including a memorable trip to Tanzania in 2006. They collaborated on several films, such as Cross My Sin, She is My Sister, and The Director.
Born in Ghana, Emmanuel France was known for his gentlemanly demeanor and his deep respect for others.
One of his unfulfilled dreams was to produce a film titled Ghana Must Go, a project that was dear to his heart.
With appearances in numerous films, France’s humour and vibrant personality endeared him to filmmakers, fellow actors, and journalists alike.
His absence will be deeply felt within the entertainment industry.
