Big Bolaji’s passing comes just months after he marked his 50th birthday in November 2024 — a milestone that was widely celebrated by fans, friends, and fellow artists, recognizing both his personal journey and immense contributions to gospel music.
The announcement was made public through a heartfelt statement released by his family and shared by fellow gospel saxophonist and close friend, Beejaysaxb, on social media.
