GISTSMATE MEDIA reports that Chief Benedict Akika, a People Democratic Party, PDP, Chieftain and an ally of Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has been reportedly kidnapped on Wednesday by unknown gunmen.
According to an update sighted on Westerndailynews Chief Benedict Akika, a Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party was said to be kidnapped at his resident in Idi-Ape along Olorunda Aba.
An unconfirmed news also alleged that one person was killed during the operation of the kidnappers.
When one of Chief Akika loyalist was contacted, he confirmed that the incident was true.
The details of this news is still sketchy as at the pressing time.
Chief Benedict Akika is the founder of the Omititun Benedict Foundation (OBF) and fondly known for his support for Makinde administration and his philanthropic activities for the less privileged.
