Renowned whistleblower and investigative journalist, Isaac Bristol, also known as @PIDOMNIGERIA, was been from Kuje prison after fulfilling his bail conditions.
Bristol, whose investigative reports have shed light on corruption and other societal issues, had been in custody pending the completion of his bail terms.
His release was announced on social media by the publisher of Sahara Reporters, and former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore.
Zagazola Makama, a counter insurgency analyst also confirmed the development.
Supporters and activists who have been following the case have expressed relief at Bristol’s release.
