GISTSMATE MEDIA reports that controversial human rights activist, Martins Otse ‘Verydarkman’, has taken to his Instagram page to apologize to the Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Femi Falana, as he retracts his earlier defamation claims.
Recall that VeryDarkMan released audio recordings where Bobrisky allegedly claimed that he bribed officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), with N15m to drop the money laundering charge against him
The recordings also suggested that Femi Falana and his son, Falz arranged a settlement for 10 million naira to resolve the case.
Reacting to the allegations, Femi Falana’s representatives issued an official statement demanding that Verydarkman retract the defamatory allegations, warning of potential legal actions.
In response, Verydarkman posted a video denying defamation claims against Femi Falana and affirming his respect.
Verydarkman asserted that Bobrisky’s allegations against Femi Falana, revealed in the audio, prompted his response and demanded a thorough investigation into the matter.
He said: “I never defamed and will never defame Femi Falana. I only reacted to the call Bobrisky made, which included allegations against Femi Falana.
“I choose not to believe Femi Falana would be associated with that, and if so, I would be disappointed”.
