CAN YOUTH CHAIRMAN, OPEJI LCDA
On the Occasion of the 1st Year in Office, 2025 Carol Service, and Installation of Patron, Patroness, Adviser, and Ambassador
Distinguished fathers of faith, esteemed leaders of CAN, pastors and ministers of God, respected youth leaders, invited guests, and my fellow Christian youths of Opeji LCDA — I greet you all in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
With heartfelt gratitude and deep humility, I stand before you today as we mark a special moment in our journey:
A reflection on our one year in office,
Our 2025 Carol Service, and the installation of our Patrons, Patronesses, Ambassadors, and Adviser.
To God alone be all the glory — He has been our strength, our wisdom, and our ever-present help.
I want to specially acknowledge:

Today is not about me; it is about us — the vision we share, the work we do together, and the progress we celebrate as one united Christian youth family.
REFLECTION ON ONE YEAR IN OFFICE
Brethren, one year has passed since the mantle of leadership was entrusted to us. This has been a journey of learning, service, sacrifice, and grace.
Over the last 12 months:
We prayed together,
We worked together,
We grew together, and
We witnessed God’s faithfulness at every step.
This one-year reflection is a testimony that when God calls, He equips; when God leads, He sustains; and when youths unite, transformation becomes possible.
CAROL SERVICE
Tonight’s Carol Service is not just a celebration; it is a moment of reflection and gratitude.
As we sing carols, we are reminded of the birth of Jesus — the Light of the World, the Hope of Nations, and the Prince of Peace.
This service rekindles joy, renews hope, and strengthens our unity as Christian youths.
May the sound of these carols echo in our hearts as a reminder that Christ remains the center of all we do.
INSTALLATION OF PATRONS, PATRONESSES, AMBASSADORS & ADVISER
This gathering also marks a significant milestone — the installation of our Patrons, Patronesses, Ambassadors, and Adviser.
To our newly installed leaders:
We welcome you with joy.
We honor your willingness to serve.
We celebrate your commitment to guiding and supporting the youths of Opeji LCDA.
Your roles are not ceremonial; they are spiritual assignments.
We look to you for mentorship, wisdom, encouragement, and direction.
May God empower you for this noble responsibility.
ACHIEVEMENTS IN OUR TENURE
By the special grace of God and through the passion of committed leaders and youths, we have recorded impactful achievements.
1. ONLINE DESIGN TRAINING
Led by Evang. Akindele Feranmi, this initiative has empowered many youths with digital skills and opened doors to creativity and income opportunities.
2. ONLINE PRAYER SUMMIT
Anchored by Assistant Prophet Evangelist Babalola, this summit revived the spiritual lives of many youths and strengthened our prayer culture.
3. FOUR JAMB SLOTS FOR 2025
We secured four (4) JAMB slots for our youths — an investment in the future of our community.
4. CONSISTENT ENGAGEMENT & RECOGNITION OF SUPPORTERS
We officially recognize all our Patrons, Patronesses, Ambassadors, and Advisers for their invaluable support throughout this journey.
OUR VISION MOVING FORWARD
Though we have achieved much, we are only getting started.
Our commitment remains to raise a generation of youths who are:
Spiritually grounded
Morally upright
Digitally skilled
Educationally empowered
Purpose-driven and impactful
With God on our side and with your support, the future is bright.

Together, we will move forward in the strength of God.
