Ashabi Simple, a Nollywood actress and ‘baby mama’ of Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, has revealed why she got him arrested.
In a video, the actress described a public confrontation with Portable that turned violent. She said that the musician approached her family during the holiday season, threatening them with a firearm.
While detailing her trauma, Ashabi stated that the singer grew quite aggressive with her siblings, pointing out that her brother still bears a scar from a strike.
The actress also claimed that Portable demanded to collect all their phones while making incantations that no one could understand.
“Portable threatened us with an axe, slapped me, pushed my sister, and punched my brother in the face,” she stated.
GISTSMATE MEDIA reported that the controversial singer was arrested by the police after his baby mama reported him.
The singer and his baby mama have been at loggerheads and have dragged each other online over allegations made by the music star.
In the video making the rounds, Portable was captured shedding tears inside police station with both hands in shackles.
Reactions has trailed the video. Fans advised that Ashabi will still need Portable since they have children together. They added that even if they are no longer lovers, she would still need financial support from the Zazu crooner for their children.
