In a strategic move aimed at strengthening the party’s position and driving progress, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Party Chairman, Dr. Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, recently invited Lt. General Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau (RTD) CFR Ph.D, a renowned strategic master, for a crucial discussion on critical issues.
The meeting was a significant step towards fostering collaboration and synergy between the party leadership and key stakeholders.
As a distinguished military leader and former Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Dambazau brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to the table. His commendable track record includes serving as the National Adviser, Strategic Engagement for the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) during the 2023 Presidential Campaign. In this capacity, he played a crucial role in mobilizing support and coordinating campaign efforts across the country.
Furthermore, he was the founder of the BAT INITIATIVE FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE (BIGG), a platform dedicated to promoting good governance and supporting the actualization of President Bola Tinubu’s vision for Nigeria. Through BIGG, Lt. Gen. Dambazau has been instrumental in mobilizing support and resources for the President’s agenda.
Some of the notable projects accomplished by BIGG in line with Lt. General Dambazau’s office as the National Adviser, Strategic Engagement for the presidential campaign council include:
* BIGG Website: The BIGG developed an online digital mobilization system that effectively disseminated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s political manifestos, skills, and achievements to the public.

* Youth Engagement: BIGG successfully engaged with youths across various platforms, fostering a sense of ownership and participation in the democratic process.
* Women Empowerment: BIGG also empowered women leaders, across the 44 Local Government in Kano State.
– BIGG Students Wing Inauguration_: BIGG inaugurated Students Wings central executives, 44 Local Governments Coordinators, and 440 Local Governments captains in Kano State.
– _Directorate of Contact and Mobilization_: BIGG inaugurated the Directorate of Contact and Mobilization, comprising 45 Standing Committee members, 15 Subcommittees, and 350 executives to operate in Kano State.
– 420K Ours Project: A women engagement project aim to generate legitimate votes which garnered national attention and recognition.
– Voter Education System Program: A comprehensive program designed to educate voters on various aspects of the electoral process, including the use of electronic voting devices.
– Media and Digital Mobilization: BIGG established a dedicated Media and Digital Mobilization Team, which successfully utilized digital platforms to disseminate information, coordinate press engagements, and manage public relations.
– Kannywood Entertainment Engagement_: BIGG engaged with the Kannywood entertainment industry, including renowned names like Gone Film Industry, Kanawa Family, Baba’ari Comedian, and Hajiya Maryam CTV, to promote Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential campaign.
– BIGG Tinubu Cup (1st Edition): The BIGG Tinubu Cup 2022, organized in continuing efforts to promote Bola Ahmed Tinubu and ensure his victory, and that of the APC at all levels, sponsored by the BIGG National Chairman Lt. General Abdurrahman Bello Dambazau (Rtd).
