A disturbing revelation has emerged in Epe, Lagos State, as a man identified as Bobo Animashaun, son of the current king of Epe, has been linked to a string of violent crimes, including murder and theft.
According to sources, Bobo Animashaun, who is also the junior brother of Hon. Ibrahim Animashaun, the current councilor in Ward C, Lagos Mainland Local Government, has been implicated in the killings of at least eight youths in Epe.
The victims’ families have reportedly been denied the opportunity to bury their loved ones, as the corpses have not been released. This has sparked widespread outrage and calls for justice in the community.
Furthermore, a video has surfaced allegedly showing Princess Surah Animashaun, Bobo’s sister and daughter of the king, engaging in the illegal sale of properties belonging to the Epe Local Government. This has raised concerns about the involvement of high ranking individuals in illicit activities.
The allegations against Bobo Animashaun are particularly disturbing given his family connections. His brother, Hon. Ibrahim Animashaun, is a prominent figure in local politics, and their father is the reigning king of Epe.
In a similar vein, the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) recently arrested an alleged notorious cult leader, Qudus, also known as “Ewe”, who was linked to numerous gruesome killings in Epe and environs .
The community is calling for a thorough investigation into the allegations against Bobo Animashaun and his sister, as well as greater accountability for those involved in illicit activities.
It remains to be seen how the authorities will respond to these allegations, but one thing is clear: the people of Epe demand justice and transparency.
