Adeleke’s Aide, Osun CDC Excos Map Out Grassroots Strategy For PVC Registration, Collection

‎In a renewed effort to strengthen democratic participation and ensure that the voices of grassroots communities are fully represented in governance, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Community Engagement, Hon. Sulaimon Musa Olalekan, held a strategic meeting with the State Executives of the Community Development Council (CDC) in Osun State.

‎The meeting, which took place in his office, centered on mobilizing communities across all local government areas for the ongoing Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) registration and collection exercise. Hon. Sulaimon emphasized that active voter participation is the foundation of democracy, stressing that residents must see the PVC as their strongest tool in shaping the future of Osun State.

‎Speaking during the engagement, Hon. Sulaimon noted that community leaders and CDC executives are critical stakeholders in mobilizing grassroots participation:

‎ “The progress we enjoy under Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration today is possible because of the people’s mandate. To sustain this development, every eligible resident must ensure they are registered and ready to vote. The PVC is our power, and no one should be left behind.”

The deliberations focused on:
‎Raising awareness in rural and urban communities about the importance of registering for or collecting their PVC.

‎Creating community-based strategies for reaching hard-to-reach areas.

‎Strengthening collaboration between CDC structures and government agencies to ensure smooth mobilization.

‎The CDC State Chairman Alh Agbajelola Salam on behalf of the executives, commended Hon. Sulaimon for his consistency in grassroots engagement and assured him of the Council’s commitment to driving massive turnout for PVC registration and collection across the state.

‎This collaboration highlights the Adeleke administration’s people centered approach, where governance is not only about delivering infrastructure and welfare but also about empowering citizens to take charge of their democratic responsibilities.

‎As the PVC exercise continues, Hon. Sulaimon reaffirmed his office’s readiness to work with community stakeholders to ensure that no community is left behind in the democratic process.
