According to reports gathered by our correspondent, Abubakar was travelling from Gombe to Balanga Local Government Area where his wedding fatiha was scheduled to hold.
Sources disclosed that the groom had spoken with his bride-to-be, Fauziya, on phone while en route to the venue, assuring her of his journey, shortly before the unfortunate incident occurred.
Family members, friends and well-wishers had already gathered at the venue, waiting for his arrival for the solemnization of the marriage, when the sad news of his death filtered in.
The sudden death has thrown both families into mourning, turning what was supposed to be a day of joy into one of grief.
