The Personal Assistant to the Executive Chairman of Kuje Area Council, Hon. Peter Jesse has revealed that Hon. Danjuma Samuel Shekwolo is fulfilling the renewed hope theme of President Bola Tinubu.
In an interview to honour the 100 days in the office of the Chairman, Jesse said Shekwolo came with a clear vision for Kuje.

Yes, my name is Peter Jesse, the Personal Assistant to the Executive Chairman, Kuje Area Council.

👉 JOIN WHATSAPP CHANNELThank you very much. First, I want to thank Almighty God and appreciate my principal, the Executive Chairman of Kuje Area Council, Hon. Danjuma Samuel Shekwolo, for the opportunity to serve.
The last 100 days have been very busy, very demanding, and very inspiring. My principal came with a clear vision – that under his distinguished leadership, the entire council will witness unprecedented infrastructural development. In just 100 days, we have seen that vision being translated into action. It’s been 100 days of purposeful leadership and inclusiveness.
Q2: People say the Chairman is carrying everyone along. As someone close to him, is that true?
Absolutely true, and I am a witness. My principal believes governance is a continuum. That is why he has met with former Councillors, families of former Chairmen, head teachers, market men and women, youth groups, and stakeholders across all 10 wards.
In line with our principal’s vision, everyone is carried along – youth, women, elders, persons with disabilities. He doesn’t see APC, LP or PDP, he sees Kuje. That is the spirit of this administration.
Q3: What are some key impacts you have personally witnessed in 100 days?
I have witnessed a Chairman who works from morning till night.
We have seen:
– Engagement and motivation of primary school head teachers
– Inauguration of a transparent scholarship committee
– Grading, Stabilization and culverts of 5 rural roads.
Provision of 10, 000 Fertilizer, Sprayers & seedlings to farmers.
Provision of 20, 000 exercise books and other instructional materials for primary school pupils.
Provision of 10 solar power boreholes across the ward.
Construction of 2 ashfat roads.
Maintenance of Kuje Township Roads.
Construction of 2 no. classroom with one office each in three communities
Renovation of 10 classroom with two office across the ward
Renovation/ Expansion of Primary Healthcare Kuje.
Provision of Solar Street lights in about 40 communities across the 10 ward.
13 months 40% peculiar allowance arrears paid to LEA staff.
Implementation of 2023 promotion & 2025 annual increment for LEA staff
Provision of 8 transformers
Electrification of 3 communities.
Provision of 10 Sanitory Equipment.
Renovation/ Remodeling of Kuje Area Council Secretariat.
– Support for security agencies
– Visit to Kuje Marketers and listening to their challenges
What stands out is his style – he listens more, talks less, and acts fast.
Q4: What has been the biggest challenge?
The biggest challenge is the high expectation, which is good. Our people are hungry for development after years of waiting. Resources are limited, needs are massive. But my principal is prudent and focused. He always tells us – “Don’t complain about what we met, show what you can do.” And that is what we are doing.
Q5: What should the people of Kuje expect in the coming months?
They should expect more. A lot more.
The first 100 days was for foundation and consultation. The next phase is execution – more roads, school renovations, health centre upgrades, water projects, and massive youth and women empowerment across all 10 wards.
My principal is committed to fulfilling the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr. President, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the vision of the Hon. Minister of FCT.

I just want to thank the good people of Kuje for their prayers and support for my principal. I urge our youth, women and stakeholders to continue to support this administration.
