With general elections around the corner in 2027, the relative question and appeal to the fans would primarily be on the grass not just of experience, but of continuity to further propagate the ongoing developments.
Hon. Oluwatimehin Adelegbe, whose constituency he has been representing for two terms, will go into the race with eight years of legislative service and that experience is enough reason why the constituency should retain him.
The case for Adelegbe supporters say he has been elevated from the learning phase of a legislator serving his first term in the Legislature. He has mastered the workings of Parliament, including the legislative process, committee work, budget preparations and the federal ministries and agencies. That institutional knowledge can be put to better use over another four-year term, they argue.
His constituency interventions, covering areas such as agriculture, electricity, rural infrastructure, healthcare and empowerment have been listed as examples of his contribution on the floor of Parliament. Many say these interventions are a cause worth building on.
Another important factor to take into account is legislative ranking, Since Adelegbe has served eight years in the National Assembly, serving a third term could solidify his seniority and stature within the House. Although he cannot be assured of a principal officer position, as it is determined by party and parliamentary deals, more legislative experience could be used to advantage when deciding on leadership and committee chairs.
For Owo and Ose, the greater case is that representation should lead to greater benefits that come from federal opportunities such as Roads, electricity, health, education, agriculture, youth empowerment and employment continue to be thrusts that will continue to require us to partner with the Federal Government.

During elections, voters compare his performance with the programs, educational and professional experience of other contestants. Majority may prefer Adelegbe to further strengthen 8 years on the saddle rather than starting afresh for the well-being of his constituents.
