Nigerian comedian Mazi Okeke has alleged that his fiancée was unfaithful to him despite claiming he paid for her university education and supported her financially throughout their relationship.
The comedian made the claim in an emotional video shared on social media, where he broke down in tears while recounting what he described as a painful experience.
Speaking in the video, Okeke said he hardly brings his private life to the public but decided to speak out because he could no longer keep the situation to himself.
He claimed he sponsored his fiancée’s education from her second year at the university until she graduated. He also alleged that he helped her establish a business and built a house for her parents before they were married.
Okeke said all the support he gave did not stop her from betraying him.
Although he declined to disclose every detail of the incident, the comedian said he was not in the right emotional state to do so and promised to provide a fuller account in another video.
He said partly, “I invested my life, my money on this girl. How stupid I was.”
