The Member representing Ibadan North Constituency I in the Oyo State House of Assembly and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for the 2027 general election, Hon. Dr. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide, JP (Akoni Odu’a Heroine), has donated and pledge Continued support to the National Association of Nigerian Music Promoters in support of its programmes and activities.
The donation was announced during a colourful ceremony where the lawmaker was honoured with the prestigious Grand Commander of Entertainment Award in recognition of her outstanding contributions to youth empowerment, community development, and the growth of Nigeria’s creative industry.
The event, held at the premises of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Ibadan, attracted music promoters, entertainment stakeholders, artistes, political leaders, invited guests, and supporters from across Oyo State.
In their remarks, the organisers described Hon. Comforter as a visionary leader whose dedication to empowering young people through education, entrepreneurship, and creative initiatives has transformed many lives.
They noted that the award was in recognition of her consistent support for talent development and the entertainment industry.
As the lawmaker was unavoidably absent, the award was received on her behalf by her Senior Special Assistant, Amb. Dr. Kunle Awotiku, accompanied by the Director of Media, Akinsawe Musa (BOYO), and the Secretary to her Constituency Office, Jumoke Aminat Olaiya.
The delegation conveyed her heartfelt appreciation to the organisers and reaffirmed her unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, community development, and the continued growth of the entertainment and creative industry in Oyo State and beyond.
