Comrade Ogundele Ebenezer Olukayode ‘Samson Set’, a former Student Union Government President, Federal School of Statistics, Ibadan, 2019/2020 Academic Session, has heartily congratulated Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa (Ibadan Pride) on his well-deserved appointment as the Director General of Youth Mobilization, Allied People’s Movement (APM) 2027 Campaign Council.
In a press statement sighted by GISTSMATE MEDIA, Comrade Samson Set hailed appointment of Bolarinwa as a strategic masterstroke by APM.
The press release reads in part:
“The appointment of Hon. Bolarinwa is not only timely but also a strategic masterstroke by the leadership of the Allied People’s Movement as we prepare for the 2027 general elections. Hon. Bolarinwa’s track record, grassroots connection, and uncommon capacity to galvanize young people make him the right man for this critical assignment at this critical time.
“Ibadan Pride is no stranger to service and political mobilization. As Senior Adviser to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State during his first term from 2019 to 2023, he distinguished himself as a bridge between government and the people, particularly the youth constituency.
“His ability to translate government policies into grassroots action, to listen to the concerns of young people, and to turn those concerns into votes and voluntary support was evident throughout that administration. He earned the name “Ibadan Pride” not by chance, but through years of consistent engagement, loyalty, and results.
“As we move into the 2027 political season, the task before the APM is clear: to consolidate progressive governance, expand our base, and ensure victory for our flag bearers. With His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde now flying the flag of the Allied People’s Movement for the Presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and with Hon. Bimbo Adekambi leading our charge as the Oyo State APM Gubernatorial Candidate, the role of youth mobilization has never been more important.
“I have no doubt that Hon. Bolarinwa will bring his proven expertise to bear in this new role. He understands the language of the youth.
