INEC Returning Officer for the 2026 Ekiti Governorship Election, Prof. Adenike Temidayo Oladiji, who is the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology Akure in neighbouring Ondo State made the declaration shortly after announcing formal results at the end of collation from the 16 LGAs.
